The LTGEN program runs as 8 bit and can be set up to select from a single up to 120 notched random numbers, scalable in a range
from -15 to +15 digits, as required by you to play your lotto or simply as a mathematical tool.
LTPROB in 32bits, however is a probability analyzer for world lotteries. With this tool one can see the full scale of probabilities in order to
know in how many plays you actually stand a chance to win a specific combination. It is scalable to handle up to 120 balls with a play
set of up to 12 number entries. Further it provides you to enable a power ball play or a bonus ball play to see all the possibilities.
Downloading any from the top of this page by selecting one on the table. Depending on the firewall settings of your computer or network, you
may be required by your browser to approve authentication yourself. These files are small and contain only a single executable each. It can be saved
to your desktop. These simple but usefull little programs may require you to get a user code via email.
DRAW MACHINES
Using a digital draw machine, should produce a random number to display on light bulb indicators etc.
The methods in producing true random numbers in a software domain is quite complex as it should randomize the random as well, or even randomize and seed the sequence of a processor in a random way.
True random number selectors are to have no specific sequence in selecting these numbers, and, must in all time spans distribute a fair share of probability to all possibilities.
The endeavour however, is to be as true and random as a precise mechanical draw machine which has so many factors to almost infinately influence any outcome.
Predictability should be the same as the probability for it, that by no means it can be possible to predict a specific outcome. A computer with software is not guaranteed a fair
draw machine.
The Lottorun ltprob14.exe lottery systems analyzer may be one of possible tools to determine such fair distribution of winning combinations over long time span statistics.
The problem however still stays, that it is possible to modify mechanical and electronic/software draw machines to be in favor of a certain combination, and if such modifications are done now and then
randomly, the outcome will also be equally distributed and no one will know.
Some of other conditions that may influence a fair outcome with mechanical draw machines, are the colors of balls.
This however is a small size change or elastic change, due to the fact that different colors can end up with different temperatures.
It is possible that a ball can absorb photons and turn that into heat, especially in a TV studio.
One could recon that this may be possible if a TV studio uses for instance tungsten quartz lighting, for that contains a lot of red spectrum, therefor could heat up blue balls more than the red ones.
Proof can exist if blue balls have different selection statistics than red ones or so.
Not ignoring any signwriting on the balls that may have different area content, even if exposed to other light environments.
Another possibility of an unfair outcome is related to cheating and fraud. One possible method can be an electro-magnet or permanent magnet
installed near the outlet of the ball tumbler for any practical reason (to open a flap or so), and at the same time the balls though similar, have different centers made from copper and others from iron.
The balls with iron centers are magnetic and are pulled to the outlet, while the copper centered balls will not be pulled by the magnetic field. In such event
one will not easily notice any abnormality in a draw. Policing lotteries and their draw machines should be compulsory and openly inspected in public just
before a draw takes place, including magnetic testing, size, flexibility, weight and surface equality.
Mathematically it is possible to calculate over a span of previous draws of a lottery, to determine if past draws were random or mind picked.
